Step 1
Background Check/Fingerprinting
  • Full-time Interns/Counseling Practicums: You must be fingerprinted in our Office of Investigations at least 3 weeks prior to beginning your placement. More Information about Fingerprinting
  • Field Observations/Part-time Experiences: You must complete a Background Check Authorization at least 3 weeks prior to beginning your placement. More Information about Background Check
    NOTE: If you are planning to complete your full-time internship with HCPS, you can choose to be fingerprinted in lieu of the background check authorization step.

Orientation and Agreements

Here are the links to three required presentations - please be sure you have access to speakers as all the presentations are narrated. Following the viewing of all three presentations, you will find a link to a form which must be completed and submitted to HCPS at least two weeks prior to your beginning date.
